Professor. Maranhão will talk about the legistation of Intellectual Property, Law of Software and challenges given by the legal concept of software licensing regime.

What is the CCSL

The CCSL (FLOSS Competence Center) at USP encompasses activities related to undergraduate and graduate education, research, development, and publicizing of Free and Open Source Software at USP and is comprised of formally established centers at the city of São Paulo (IME) and São Carlos (ICMC). Its main goal is to foster the development, research, and adoption of FLOSS (Freely-licensed Open Source Software) both inside and outside the University.
