Abstract:
Canonical is a peculiar company, as it uses distributed development a lot: beyond a few exceptions, all engineers and development managers work from home. Almost all coordination is done online or by phone.
In this presentation, we will present in more detail the development process of two of Canonical's projects: the Ubuntu Linux distribution and the code hosting system Launchpad.
