This brazilian open source project is the work of master's degree in computer science from its author at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics, University of São Paulo - Brazil.
It has the following main features:
• efficient capture and analysis of SIP signaling messages and RTP packets of audio;
• viewing reports with diagnoses of occurrences of the registration transactions and calls that have been captured;
• identification of common problems that occur in an IP telephony system on the signaling and media stream.
Users of this tool can be:
• professionals of telephony industry who have good knowledge of this activity, but do not have total knowledge of computer networks;
• computer networks analysts, which have the necessary training for such activity, but have no experience in traditional telephony and IP telephony;
• professionals working in companies providing IP telephony, for monitoring and tracking services offered;
• installers of VoIP equipment, because the tool has a simplified interface for this type of professional;
• students who wish to learn more about IP telephony and its protocols
