What is the CCSL

The CCSL (FLOSS Competence Center) at USP encompasses activities related to undergraduate and graduate education, research, development, and publicizing of Free and Open Source Software at USP and is comprised of formally established centers at the city of São Paulo (IME) and São Carlos (ICMC). Its main goal is to foster the development, research, and adoption of FLOSS (Freely-licensed Open Source Software) both inside and outside the University.

You may follow us on Facebook and see us on Youtube; you may also be interested in our blog at Estadão.

Get involved with the CCSL

The FLOSS Competence Center is open to the community. To participate in the discussions and get involved, we created two mailing lists:

  • ccsl-anuncios AT lists.ime.usp.br
    • This is an announcements-only list with very low traffic. Events and main news are posted here.
  • ccsl-comunidade AT lists.ime.usp.br
    • This is a discussion list for the CCSL community.

If you would like to include your project in the CCSL, check out the submission guidelines (in Portuguese).
