PGDay (PostgreSQL Day) in São Paulo, at IME-USP

On November 9, 2012, from 13.30 to 22pm, the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics (IME) of the University of São Paulo (USP) will hold the PGDay. The PGDay (or PostgreSQL Day) is a nonprofit conference organized to promote the use of PostgreSQL. PostgreSQL is a free and open-source Database Management System, that has high quality and is competitive compared to proprietary solutions.

The PGDay is a good opportunity for users, developers and DBAs Brazilian PostgreSQL to learn, to know each other, to exchange experiences, to expose challenges and cases of success, and to fortify their professional networking. The event consists of talks on hot topics related to PostgreSQL, which generally are given by members of the Brazilian PostgreSQL community. The expected audience is formed by students, business professionals and enthusiasts of Free Software.

The PGDay - São Paulo is being organized by Brazilian PostgreSQL community, CCSL, and IME-USP. Admittance to the conference is free but the number of places available is limited. So, make your registration in order to guarantee the admittance.
