A new study by Forrester Consulting,by request from Bull, was brought up at the Open World Forum. This study notes a large growth of free software adoption in Europe and to the intention of several companies to increase usage of free software, pointing to a generalized tendency towards free software and reaffirming its professional potential. Several industry sectors were surveyed, such as business services, financial services, manufacturing, telecom and the governmental sector.
